Main traditional market street in historic As-Salt: Local food and produce, clothing, household goods, traditional crafts. Established in the 1880s by merchants mainly coming from Nablus, the street was originally used as a vegetable and cattle market. The market is a narrow road with shops along the sides, marketplace with a steep staircase, wooden doors, and store signs of yellow buildings.
