Apart from being a unique filming location, As Salt is also famous for being the most historic town in Jordan and a town of picturesque streets and dazzling houses from the late Ottoman period with their characteristic long-arched windows, located 32 km (21 miles) northwest of Amman. Middle Khader street is a narrow uphill road decorated with limestone buildings with a touch of turquoise doors and railing and some trees.
